25th September 2019 - Hounslow’s Mayor, Cllr Tony Louki cut the ribbon for an event celebrating restoration of the Victorian pillars and gates of the vehicle entrance to Park Road cemetery for which TIS secured Community Infrastructure Levy funding.  TIS committee members are shown along side Lee Williams, who acted as Project Manager for the work, local Councillors and a representative from Stone Restoration who carried out the work.

TIS welcomed Hounslow’s Mayor along with 30 intrepid walkers for the tour arranged to celebrate National Civic Day, 22nd June 2019, the day being themed on “Say Your Conservation Area Matters”.   This highlighted a recently opened new Thames riverside path, contrasting grand 18th and 19th C properties with a variety of working class cottages, almshouses and a former Police station.  Teas were made available at Isleworth Public Hall to round off the walk, provided by Friends of Isleworth Public Hall.
